Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has delved into the dark side of pop and traditional music. Her voice is called by no less of a talent than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp but with a bite like the old ones. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial success. The album topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and won a Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami is her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The release date was March 20, 2022, following the performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on the show on Saturday Night Live. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded The Latin Album of the Year and three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
